Wooohhh, ready to go to the Maldives? Personally, I love to travel to so many places especially as some airports imply latest techniques like people counting machines, sensors, liquid screed floors and all. But, before you reach the airport, you have to be packed and to help you with that its best to come up with a checklist. When you hear Maldives, the very first thing that strikes your mind is secluded islands with long beaches and sawing coconut palm trees. So definitely your swimsuit and sunscreen lotion should be high on your list, but there must be few things you want to squeeze into your case. Let me begin with few tips to help you with packing. Tip #1 – Check seaplane weight allowance limit:
Before you start packing, it is important to know what the seaplane luggage allowance is. For long-haul flights, you’ll have a decent luggage allowance but with Maldives airlines, you will only be allowed to carry 25kg luggage, which would be a pretty hefty suitcase. Tip #2 – Carry some decent Dresses: Being a Muslim country, women in Maldives wear either a burka or a headscarf. I would recommend you to dress conservatively when you're around the airport or going to Male dominated or some small villages. You might be thinking about swimsuits here? You don't need to worry at all, as when you will check into your resort you're completely free to enjoy your vacations. Tip #3 – Don't forget to carry a swimsuit: This amazing tip is just for girls, so boys please ignore. Maldives beaches are perfect to wear gorgeous, sexy bikinis but oops you're missing something! Maldives is also a haven for scuba diving, snorkelling and other water adventures so you'll definitely swim a lot. Bikini’s can slip away in such scenarios so it is advisable to pack a swim suit you can comfortably swim in. Tip #4 – An underwater camera to capture sea life: When you will go down under water, the amazing rare sea life you experience can make you delirious with joy. You would have been thinking to take it along but unfortunately you can't do that. You can only capture those moments and at that particular moment you will find your investment for an underwater camera worthy. Tip #5 – Ditch your shoes and make-up kit: For Maldives, walking in shoes will be more difficult! It is always great to walk bare feet to lonely beaches even if are dressing up elegantly. Since, Maldives climate is humid and full of moisture, so there’s no point of carrying make-up that will wipe off in no time. Carrying a Mascara, Cream, blusher, eye brow pencil, lipsticks and glosses is a good option. Remember that, you're going to have fun so fill your suitcases only with the essential things and some loose easy dresses. Light wears are easy to pack and carry. As you are going on beaches, so put swimsuits, flip-flops, sunscreens, hats, shades and a bag in the must-carry list. Have a great vacation.
